Mina Kao

Mina Kao graduated from Brown University in May 2023 with a B.A. in Sociology and Psychology. On the CALL/ECL team, Mina works with a team at Brown, led by Professor John Diamond, to conduct qualitative analysis of DPTs’ theories of action. During her undergrad, Mina also served on a research team investigating the diverse cultural learning beliefs of youth in Japan and the United States. At Brown, Mina is a Co-Coordinator of Brown Asian Sisters Empowered, a community and political organization, and a Co-Director of the social action group Period Equity. She is from Seattle, WA, and enjoys spending time outdoors and playing volleyball.
