Districts
The CALL-ECL project is studying and working with eight urban school districts across the US to track the development of their principal pipelines, monitor the growth of their professional networks over the course of the project, and develop the CALL-ECL tool to support the practices of equity-centered leaders in these school districts.


Portland Public Schools is an urban school district with more than 49,000 students in 81 schools. It is one of the largest school districts in the Pacific Northwest.

Fresno Unified School District is the third-largest district in California, serving over 70,000 students and operating 109 schools.

Jefferson County Public Schools is located in the Louisville area and is the largest school system in Kentucky, with 150 schools serving over 96,000 students.

San Antonio Independent School District is an urban school district in Texas that serves more than 50,000 students in over 90 schools.

Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools is the fourth-largest school district in North Carolina. Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools serves more than 53,000 students in 81 schools.

Baltimore City Public Schools is an urban school district in Maryland. Baltimore City Schools serves over 77,000 students in 155 schools.
