Gerald (Jerry) Dryer has been a professional educator for 25 years and is a Ph.D. student at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, researching how technology can be used to redesign instructional practices to disrupt historically inequitable systems. At UW–Madison, he has been involved in many projects: he led the development of the CALL-PL framework for evaluating the key practices of personalized learning, coordinated the Play Make Learn Conference, taught policy workshops for pre-service and current teachers, and represented UW-Madison on the AERA Graduate Student Council.
Currently, he coordinates a team of graduate researchers on the CALL-ECL project, which studies the development of Equity-Centered Leader pipelines in school districts.
